We had the loveliest stay in the Boat House, the hotel room-style cabin on site. It had a gorgeous view of the sea from our bed and was a two second walk to the water. The finish on everything was very fresh and tasteful, and we appreciated the great shower and very comfortable bed. We loved our paddle boarding session across the bay on the morning we checked out. Thanks to Celina and Nev for their friendliness!
We recently had a wonderful stay at Hananui Apartments in Russell. We were attending a wedding and the hosts were incredibly accommodating, allowing us for an early check-in so we could get ready for the ceremony. They were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.nnThe location was absolutely perfect. We were within walking distance of many cafes and restaurants, making it easy to find delicious meals and enjoy the local atmosphere. The apartment itself was clean, quiet, and provided a great space to relax.nnOverall, we highly recommend Hananui Apartments to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Russell. The combination of friendly hosts, a perfect location, and a clean and quiet environment made it a great experience for us.
Lovely peaceful spot with a glimpse of the harbour and easy walk to the Russell shops and restaurants. A nice central spot and a compact but well-structured/appointed and beautifully presented Studio with a comfortable bed. Great for a night or two but if staying longer something bigger may be necessary. There was some sort of water pump/pump that goes on/off intermittently all through the night, during our 1-night stay, so if you are a light sleeper this may be a factor. Wasn't a major issue for us though, but noticeable.nVery friendly and efficient hosts who are excellent.
Amazing place to stay. Hosts were fantastic. Free use of the kayaks were perfect given the ease of access to the water. Location is incredible. The attention to detail not only in the room but the whole building was great. Beautiful place. Will definitely be back and next time for much longer.
Rooms were spotlessly clean and functional. We had everything we required for our weekend away. Beds were comfortable and we were within easy walking distance to all that Russell has to offer. Kayaks and beach towels were available on site. Friendly hosts!! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back
