Who Is Hamish Johnstone?
Hamish Johnstone: BSc, Post grad dip dietetics, NZRD

Hamish is an accredited practising Dietitian who specialises in sport and diabetes. He competed at an elite level as a professional fighter and developed his passion for sport and sport nutrition there. He has an interest in all aspects of health and nutrition, having worked for Waitemata district health board, in a clinical setting, specialising in diabetes.

Through practical messages and models of delivery Hamish is able to use the latest sport science and nutrition science to help clients achieve their goals. Whether that goal is weight loss, weight gain, increased performance or managing conditions like coeliacs or diabetes.

He has worked with many athletes to help them achieve their goals in a wide range of sports such as Boxing, Thai boxing, surf lifesaving, basketball, football, Rugby and distance running.
