Unfortunately, I agree with a previous comment regarding not taking your car to Hamilton Automotives if you are a young female. I took my car in as it had failed its WOF inspection due to a rare brake imbalance of 32% and following taking it to Hamilton Automotives they cleaned the brakes and said the balance was still out by 26% but said that each testing machine was different so may be worth taking it to get re-inspected. When getting it re-inspected the imbalance was out by 40% which was worse than when I'd brought my car into the workshop. I took my car back to them as they quoted that getting my drum and shoes replaced would be between $300-400 and I asked them to call me when fixing it. I recieved no call and instead just an invoice for my brake cylinders being replaced etc billing me just under $600. I called the workshop to ask what the situation was and all that was said was that they forgot to call me and so now I will not bring my car back and will not recommend Hamilton Automotive to anyone.Service: Brakes

I’ll wait a week or two for the fifth to be 100% sure that the repair is as good as it certainly appears to be Otherwise, definitely for all aspects of the service! I would recommend without a doubt. Thanks again

Such a rip off , they qouted me $500 to $600 but car was even not fixed and they charged me $850, also they kept my car for three nights and mileage gone up 250kms , not recomonded at all.

As a young female - I advise you not to come here. I have used their services twice and been dissatisfied both times. The first time I booked with them - they held the car for 5 hours after work was completed because there was a 'break in communication' and they failed to try and contact me. This most recent time, my appointment was booked for 9am and on retrieval at 3pm they had completed no work because once again there was a 'break in communication' in which the mechanic misunderstood what I said despite my written description when booking and 2 verbal descriptions when I initiated a phone call throughout the day in an attempt to avoid any miscommunication. Once again I am a young female so if you don't fit this description, you probably won't have an issue

Always great service for a routine service. Waited to travel 380km to use them again.
