We checked in with Jess and she was super lovely! There was quite a queue to check in but Jess was very efficient and also funny.nnI stayed in a four bedroom with my friends, booking out the whole four bedroom dorm. Room was extremely tight and small - we were really crammed in there.nnAlso extremely surprised by how few showers and toilets there were for how many beds/rooms they had. We did also cook in the kitchen and I have to say, tea towels to dry dishes is a nightmare! You can’t ask us to dry dishes and give us nothing to actually dry the dishes with. Basically just moving water around the plate and then stacking wet plates away.nnDry sauna is a lovely amenity. WiFi was good. Beds were comfy.
Room was great for what we needed, comfy beds and towels given. No free tea bags or coffee sachets available in the room or downstairs. Coffee machine for pay in kitchen. Location also good with lots of parking and stuff nearby.nnThe kitchen however needed a good deep clean, was pretty disgusting in the morning and needed way more cutlery. The hobs were mostly broken and some sounded like they were gonna explode when people used them. Would be handy to have a lighter or something to light the ones that didn’t spark up. Vending machine was also rinsed when we were there with nothing but energy drinks.nnBathrooms were fine considering but not many of them upstairs 1 toilet, 1 shower cubicle.nnSauna is also only open 6-9pm and no shower around to allow for cooling off and going back in.
Literally no complaints. 5 stars across the board. The rooms are superb and include secure lockable storage. The staff are extremely welcoming, and Daniel the manager is easy going and genuinely helpful. The sauna made the experience that much better too. Would 100% stay here again.
The rooms were fine, loved the fact that there was a little curtain. Had a good sleep. But the bathrooms were filthy! We had a tour in the evening and got back all wet, wanted to shower and found all the bathrooms in a horrible state… still showered because i didnt have another choice but the shower litterally had this huge ball of hair in the corner…nnThe next morning i got back to the bathrooms to find them in the state i show on the pictures and video…. I would’ve thought they might’ve cleaned in the meantime but no….nnI did talk to the staff about it when checking out we were there for one night and they were very apologetic about it and said they’d do better. I won’t have a chance to find out it they will but i hope they do!
Great value and location. Very clean and tidy and comfortable. The rooms were warm, and enough space. Loved the additional storage for your bags and locker.nReally enjoyed the comfortable living room, dining room and kitchen space, felt like there was enough space around rather than living in your room.nStaff very attentive. Would definitely stop again if I was in the area.
