Mission

Do you remember the pure innocence and joy that came with your childhood? Imagine being able to recreate the feelings associated with learning and having fun at the same time. This is what we strive to do at Grow Early Childhood Education(ECE) by creating a home like environment that is welcoming, safe, respectful and reflects all those who belong here. We aim to provide affordable childcare to our wider community and have them involved in enhancing our young children's lives.

Children are always our primary focus and our heart is in caring for them in a very respectful way. They are encouraged to engage in the play that interests them and discover and enjoy learning at their own pace with the support and resources they need, so they develop a lifelong love of learning. Children, family and teachers work together to build values and dispositions for learning where the teacher is both a partner in learning and a facilitator in the process. Te Whariki, guides our practices to provide quality education and we draw on our community to join with us in growing young children to be capable and confident in their lives.

We recognise Maori as the first people of Aotearoa, New Zealand and have a commitment to weaving tikanga and te reo throughout tour centre. We acknowledge Te Tiriti o Waitangi as the founding document of Aotearoa New Zealand, and are committed to embracing our bicultural heritage.
We celebrate cultural diversity and promote on going self-review, reflective practices and professional development. Our team has diverse skills, interests and backgrounds joined through the commitment of making Grow ECE the best it can be.
