The music was quite loud. Service was good but you need to order at the bar. Food tastes great. I was here with teens and they were able to find items they liked. They have traditional Kiwi nachos with beef chilli on the highly recommend having them Vegetarian options: The summer salad was very nice.
We wanted fish & chips from other famous venue, but wanted beer with it, so we ended here. Absolutely no regret as their fish & chips were as good as at Coopers Catch, maybe even better – served with lettuce salad, tomatoes, carrot, etc with balsamic dressing. We also had supper yummy burgers and lots of pints of local beer. It was incredibly busy and waiting times were long, but staff kept smiling and was friendly as :
Waited nearly an hour for a margarita pizza that was just very thinly layered mozzarella and tomato paste with a tiny bit of parsley. Base was tough and overcooked. The pizza, an RTD and a pint of tap cider cost me exactly $45.78 so on top of the holiday surcharge they overcharged me as well. Update: I should have let staff know but they were obviously extremely busy and I just wanted to eat and leave by this stage so I didn’t complain. It wasn’t until later I looked at the transaction amount. Maybe I’m wrong but I thought the pizza was $16, RTD $10 and cider $10 x 15% = $41.4
Chicken and bacon pizza was tasty. Place has friendly vibe and awesome outdoor area with plenty of heating. Little pricy & wouldn’t win “best ever pizza” in my book but it was solid.
Great food, drink selection, atmosphere and price. Would definitely recommend and go again next time I'm in town.Food: 5/5
Very friendly and helpful staff, very quick for the food to arrive with great sized portions for the price. Would definitely come back in the future. Parking: Parking on the street and a parking lot across the road Wheelchair accessibility: No steps on the way in
Great place to eat, very nice and helpful staff.will be back. 300gm ribeye and chips, blue cod and chips,
We had a couple of great meals here. We changed things up each time and enjoyed every dish. Portion size was larger than expected but I can definitely recommend the chili pepperoni pizza and the ribeye. Loved the vibe and energy here. Would definitely go back.Food: 5/5
We heard the food was good so went it to give it a try, very fair priced food, music was quite loud, we waited over an hour for our food, but it was a Saturday night and we could see they were short staffed, but I tell you! They were the best burgers we have ever purchased! Perfectly cooked the meat was juicy, staff were lovely and very apologetic about the wait time. Would go again!! Try the pizzas next they also looked amazing!! Kid-friendliness: Not really kid friendly Parking: Plenty of paid parking about 100m from the restaurant, beside the public toilets Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp inside for wheelchair access so yoh can sit anywhere
Went in on a 2 for 1 burger night, which is the only thing saving this place from a 2 star review. At half price the burgers were fine, chicken burger decent but beef burger decidedly average. Chips were some of the worst I have had any restaurant--at full price I would have been very disappointed. Wait time was very long, over an hour--we were informed of this upfront, at least, but between subpar food and no table service I'm not sure why the wait was so long. Staff weren't very attentive, however the board game selection was a nice touch and made the long wait time a little more tolerable. Probably won't be back in a hurry
