I had a great experience dealing with Barfoot and Thompson Grey Lynn branch. Stress-free onboarding process with regards to filling forms and getting my house ready for photo shoot and listing for rent! The Property Manager that I dealt with, was amazing, communicating all the required steps and made it stress-free process for me. My tenant, also provided feedback that she had a wonderful experience dealing with the Property Manager as well. Words won't accurately convey how amazing our experience with Jacqui and her team was..... Jacqui patiently guided us through the viewing process, gave fabulous advice backed by thorough knowledge of the industry and the areas we were interested in, brought properties to the table we wouldn't have considered ourselves one of which we ended up purchasing, and we couldn't quite believe how quickly it was all done and dusted. Her team were helpful, efficient, and just a pleasure to deal with. We love Jacqui, and will definitely use her again when the need arises.

I have used Barfoot and Thompson for managing our rental property in Grey Lynn for many years. They have improved a lot from when we initially used them. Our current agent Arash Nassiri is excellent!. I get regular reports on the property. Including thorough walk through photos of the house. Any issues are promptly brought to my attention. And they have a team of electricians and plumbers and other tradesmen that are able to assist help maintain our property at reasonable prices. And the monthly statements are easily accessed online. Very helpful if you live overseas. Arash is always prompt at responding to my messages. Even after office hours! I feel very comfortable having my property managed by Barfoots Grey Lynn. And thankful to have Arash as my property manager.
This home in Ponsonby was an absolute dream to live in. Aside from the property itself being gorgeous and low maintenance, the location was also ideal - with Ripe, Farro, Cox’s Bay and Ponsonby Rd all within easy walking distance. The B&T Grey Lynn letting agents were incredibly accommodating and attentive. Nothing was ever a problem, even during COVID lockdowns. Can’t recommend them highly enough, 5 stars.

Worst property management ever. We signed an agreement for a house, gave notice on our own places, but when we went to pick up the keys they told us it had been rented to someone else! We tracked down the landlord who said he'd told B&T prior to our agreement that he was leaving them because they were so hopeless, and he'd rented it out through another agency. B&T couldn't care less about our situation that left us all homeless. AVOID.
