Grandy's Cafe

Great spot around the neighbourhood. Enjoyed their coffees before and finally tried the food. The Octopus omelette was flavourful and not heavy at all which is what I look for in a good brunch. Partner had eggs your way and it was one of the better ones we’ve had. Looking forward to try their cabinet food next.nnEdit update: they recently updated their menu and their stuff is even better! Surprised at how good their kitchen food is with such a small cafe but everything I’ve had has been a hit.

This café offers delicious Korean and Japanese fried chicken options done in a variety of different ways, which is what initially appealed.nnI throughly enjoyed the fried chicken waffles, which was coated in a delicious sweet and spicy sauce, roasted peanuts, and black sesame.nnIt's fairly inconspicuous from the road but there is plenty of parking behind the set of shops it's located by.

All food we ordered so good we only stay in Auckland for one night and find this hidegem cafe. Must visit in Auckland

We are so lucky to have Grandy’s as our local cafe that we can walk to. Their food and coffee is exceptional. I worry sometimes that small cafes may not have the freshest food- but our meals are always fresh and delicious, and presented beautifully. My favourite is the pork belly bowl, and the octopus omelette which is no longer on the menu . Even the eggs on toast is good. Their cutlery is of such great quality too which is something that probably goes unnoticed but what I appreciate. Highly recommended and suggest you stop by if you live locally or even further out!
