Gong Li Chinese Massage

While shopping at Sylvia Park I decided to treat myself to a foot massage. Wow it was absolutely awesome. Afterwards I felt like I was walking about a metre above the ground. My feet had a pleasant tingle all over.

My wife and I had massage and, while she had an 'okay' experience with her masseuse, mine was terrible. Half the time, she was just resting her elbow on my back with no effort at all. It's a hit and miss and the massage quality depends on the staff you're getting. Wouldn't be going back there. Waste of money.

I was a regular at this branch across Chemist Warehouse as they had some amazing therapists Daisy was their best one but I no longer see her. Unfortunately I just had the worst massage with the senior lady therapist yesterday. She kept resting her elbow on my upper back pressed down while pressing on my lower back points with her other elbow. Told her twice that it hurt! but she repeated it for the duration of my back massage. Her pressure was inconsistent had to request to put a bit more pressure on and she kept losing it, technique was definitely not the same as the other therapists there, and it was a waste of $70! I told the manager at reception about my experience and she heard it, became defensive & said she was using her fingers, demo’d it on my shoulder & sort of pushed me like she got angry. I was shocked and thought I’d just leave as I did not want to waste any more of my time there. I no longer recommend them after this.

I come in from rural Manukau to these guys. No one in my area gives that gooda massage. Neck and shoulders get really bad sometimes, I usually ask for a man with strong hands as I need deep tissue massage, but the ladies here are quiet strong in the hands compared to other woman Ive had. Ive been to at least 3 others in my area and they aren't as good as these guys.

I went to get a massage but the available person refused to do it. I chose a package from what they offer but seemed she just didn’t want to do it so just said no without any reason. Not a service you’d expect.

Daisy was amazing!! Highly recommend this place for deep massage. Starts out painful but halfway through the pleasure and release of tension kicks in... Go to the Gong Li shop just near Pak n Save.

Bad Customer Service ! I scheduled for 2 persons at 3:10pm! We have been waiting for 45’ in the front When we came they let’s someone in instead of us , since we are Asian

Massage experience can be hit & miss depending on who you get as some of the therapists really haven’t a clue what they’re doing. Service is good on the most part.

Bad service. The staffs are very arrogant and rude, seem unable to communicate with customers politely. I don't know what they are arrogant about, worst experience ever.

In the past this place has delivered very well every single time. However this time 6 August 2022 around 3.30pm the guy who was doing massage clearly wasn't very interested and was using one hand only most of the time. A half-heartedly approach I would say
