Gong Cha Dunedin

I wasn't overly impressed with this Boba tea to be perfectly honest with you, but the guy at the counter must have finessed me and I brought extra tapioca balls, which by the way are definitely not my thing, but in other teams they do spit out quite nicely and do stick to most things, the airborne of the balls are quite surprising as well. But customer service was pretty decent. Overall my rating for this is 3/5 as the tea was nice and friendly staff members!

Finally found a good bbt fix! As someone who comes from a country where new bubble tea shops erect every now and then, and where Gong Cha is prevalent, I can assuredly give this store a thumbs up. The interior was spacious with lots of breathing room, and I love how the murals were done on the walls. The pearls were good. Fresh to say at least, and not too sweet. The milk tea was good too. Rich, but slightly powdery. But still, a good bbt fix. The brown sugar tasted exactly like how I remembered from back home.

Best tea I've ever had in my life. Got a Soy Honey Milk tea and it was sooooo good!!! Excellent prices and minimal wait time, even with a queue out the door!

We ordered 2 drinks with 0% sugar but taste super sweet , couldn’t feel any tea flavor. probably staff add too much syrup Gong Cha Queenstown is much better . Anyway , we only drink a little bit then throw it away.

Fantastic tea. The boba was so good you should definitely try it. The store was also nice and gave a quaint Japanese store aesthetic.

The rose oolong with lychee jelly was soooo yum! Love their limited edition drinks and lovely staff.

They have great drinks. My only issue is that once the server got my drink wrong and then refused to give me a refund because “she is wasting a whole drink”. It’s okay because that’s the only issue I’ve ever had with them since they opened. They do an amazing strawberry green milk tea.

It was desgusting my friend and I got the brown sugar pearl milk tea and it tasted like soy sauce the other drinks might be good but I do not recommend this drink go to cha time to get the perfect brown sugar pearl milk tea we don't recomened this drink but we haven't tryed others yet and they might be better

Had a few milk teas at Gong Cha, 90% of the bubbles are fresh and yummy, price is reasonable, but sometimes the 100% ice is a bit too much for a drink; i saw a staff pour at least half a cup of ice in a milk tea, also need to have control on the sweetness level; i always order 100% sugar but sometimes it taste very sweet or like not added sugar. Overall, the taste is good for me, compared with milk teas at chatime :
