Gogo Daddy Thai Canteen

First time trying Thai food & it was good, the food was amazing, the guy waiter was really friendly, helpful and attentive. We had so much fun & thoroughly enjoyed the food, and big portions too, we even got lunch for tomorrow. Very clean & cosy, nice music pumping, heaters & blankets outside, we will definitely be recommending this place & coming back again. Was a great night. The waiter & the chef definitely made the night.A+A+A+

We were looking for a Thai restaurant and thought this place looked interesting. The place and menu is pretty hipster, so don't expect your classics in there no pad thai, green curry etc but some bold and exciting flavourful dishes. I liked the soft shell crab salad but I felt like it was a bit too acidic and seemed to have too much coriander. The duck fried rice was lovely. The salt and pepper squid was pretty good, except a few which were overseasoned. The downer of the night was when one waiter got our order wrong and insisted that we asked for the papaya salad when we actually asked for the squid... nevertheless, the food was not bad and the other staff were fine. Recommend for those who like flavourful and fusion-y thai dishes.

Excellent food n drinks - enjoyed the beef cheek and pork belly the most must try as the meat literally melts In the mouth. The red parasol cocktail didn't taste that good the first few sips but got better as the dinner went on. All in all, a lovely place n awesome food.Food: 5/5

Food was really tasty, however portions are small for costs and service was extremely poor. I would not recommend this restaurant for a large group of people we had 8 and ordered 8 mains. The first plate of food to the last plate was 1 hour or more apart. We got three dishes within 15 mins of arriving but had to wait 15 mins for rice to accompany it. The waitress forgot to put two items through and when they bought it out only one came and they had to go back and re-order the second one.

Fun restaurant with some awkward seating arrangements, that makes it interesting. Food is fabulous and service was good. Shame they are closing in March. Will miss that succulent pork hock dish. Hope they find a way to come back somewhere in Auckland.

Unfortunately I can only give you four stars Great design Fancy let out I really couldn't get connected with the menu, although the taste is not bad. This is definitely not the Thai food that to my past experiences, some of them were happening in originally Thailand I am old school, still prefer authentic Thai food

Not a bad place for a bite. This place is for share plate dining. Ingredients were nice and fresh. We had the special dish that had a combination of different dishes, tastes good, but papaya salad could have been much bigger! All dishes dressed well. Great service.

It’s definitely a hipstery Thai restaurant so expect the food to be the same, hipster authentic! Very accommodating though their phone line doesn’t seem to work around 3-5pm if you need booking or changes to booking?! Sorry for the odd comment Food is great, best Thai food however? - No but it’s still worth coming. All the dishes are meant to be shared.

Love this cosy spot, every dish we had was delicious and full of flavour thai fusion style. Good value, highly recommended.
