Attended an Auckland FC match on a sunny Saturday afternoon/evening. We were sitting at the East Stand and had the sun. The West Stand was in the shade, so it depends on your preference. Parking in surrounding residential streets is free and only a 10 to 15 mins walk to the stadium. Easy stadium to get around and great facilities
I've been to this stadium 4 times already this year for Auckland FC games. Getting into the stadium is easy, because there are multiple gate entries. This also means that there is heaps of surrounding streets you can park your car. Food and drink prices are reasonable, and they have multiple areas and food trucks from which you can purchase from. There's easy access to toilets, as they are all over the stadium. You can choose from seats under the shade, in the sun, or you can purchase tickets sitting near The Port. You also have the choice to watch the game from the hills, a good space if you want to stretch your legs during the game. The atmosphere is always incredible and of course Auckland FC always deliver, they're such a great team to watch. There's also family friendly entertainment on-site, if the kids ever get bored. For the first two games, they had a massive sand pit. There's always the inflatable slide as well. And just with the recent match, they had a Ferris wheel and Tea cup rides. I enjoy coming to this stadium and I've enjoyed the memories made here.
We attended the Auckland FC match v Brisbane Roar. Love this stadium. Very open, so not great for rain cover but awesome on a good weather day. Facilities are great and very easy to get around.
