Visited during the day to check out the place and then at night to see the worms. It only takes 2 to 3 minutes to find the glow worm at the end of the track. Switch off the lights to see them. It's pretty cool. Don't miss this spot if you're in the area.
Amazing experience, plenty of parking along the road if the small car park is full. A lovely information page.nnBest seen on a pitch black night, the worms are very active but their light isn't super duper bright so best to just use a phone screen pointed at the floor to guide you're way instead of a torch.
A bit faint, but totally magical with glowworms surrounding you everywhere! But you have to come after nightfall to see them, of course. If you can, I recommend stopping by first during the daytime to see what everything actually looks like and then returning once the sun has set. Easy to find and well marked. Best bonus: Totally free too! :

Cool little spot. Not much room for parking and to leave, especially in a campervan. Only went during the day so can't comment on the glowworms
