Glenfield Intermediate School

My eldest boy went to this school and now my youngest, I cannot speak highly enough of the teaching staff, they excelled my older boy into College amazingly so...thank you and keep up the great work supporting our tamariki ..much appreciated.

This is the worst school that i have ever been to. The teachers are alright. But it's the students. Students will Climb onto roofs, start fights for no exact reason, and they will break stuff such as, Windows, Doors. Even the principal is not doing anything about it. Would not recommend going here.

All though the school has many activities to participate in and the teachers try to help you much as possible most of the students are the problem. The students are very aggressive, racist and judgmental towards other students. Students tend to comment negatively on your back round, family, and looks, they will also stare and try to pick up a fight for no reason. The students damage a lot of the school property from vandalizing, breaking glass windows, kicking doors, and some climb the roofs. There is a high chance your child will get bullied in Glenfield Intermediate whether it's in school or online, no matter if they are the shy quiet kid or the loud bubbly kid. This will lead to your child's mental health to go down hill, they will feel trapped and suffocated. Many students get peer pressured in this school as well. Your child also has a high chance of hanging out with the wrong people which will lead them onto the wrong path. This school could be a lot better if it weren't for the immature students. The school should be strict on their pupils to behave like civilized people and have some respect for each other but for now I do not recommend Glenfield Intermediate to be your child's future school.
