On the basis of our second visit here, I have changed my star rating from 3 to a single star. I am reviewing this cafe for the second time. As it was close to the medical facility we needed to visit, and also following our last visit we thought our last experience might have been a one off. I ordered a steak and mushroom pie, which was absolutely unedible. The base pastry was raw and soggy, the steak which there was plenty of, had obviously been cooked previously, and was dry and tough. It was served, heated in a mirciwave. There were large chunks and too many onions, and only two small pieces of mushrooms which were tasty. I showed it to a staff member who basically wasn't really interested in my comment, other than a weak "sorry" as she picked up my plate and walked off. I couldn't possibly recommend this outlet for any of their pies, if this is what they serve up to a customer. My wife had a date scone which was nice, and she was happy with it. The coffee was satisfactory. Note, we sat at the same table as two weeks earlier, and the same dirt on the floor then that my wife mentioned to a staff member in my previous review was still there. So much for it being cleaned! ******* Went here for a quick lunch before an appointment, the coffee was great, the blueberry muffin I had was only just okay, because the outside edges were very burnt. My wife's date scone was very nice, we commented to the waiter that the floor was in need of a good clean, he apologised for this and would ensure that this would be attended to and would let his manager know. We have had meals here before which have been good.
Amazing food, very generous portions. We had French toast, eggs with pork belly and kumera Rossi and a big breakfast . The iced chocolates were yum too. One of the best cafes I’ve been to on the lower north shore for a while. Only negative is how the car parking is set up.
The coffee was amazing here! And really like the casual tone of the cafe. Sad they didnt have the creamy mushroom, but their Shakshuka and Pork Belly Eggs Bene was absolutely devine!
Atmosphere was great and tea was good. My salmon egg benedict was overcooked. The eggs were hard boiled eggs unfortunately. But all goods maybe just a bad day.
I ordered avacado on sour dough. And I got half an avacado on ploughmans bread it looked like. Was probably the worst breaky I've ever had. Won't be coming back. Coffee was good and staff were nice though
Closes @ Midday on Sunday, used to be open later than midday not giving my meal party a chance to come from Church after cleaning up & get our building to a standard for the night-time service. So "my meal buddies" have now had to try other meal places. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS FINE, NOT THE GREATEST!!!
Nice place to stop for brunch when passing by. Food was standard but not too badly priced. Tables were left dirty for a while making it difficult to find a place.Food: 4/5
Great spot it's indoors but it feels like outdoors with a giant ceiling and a glass roof. The food was very good we just had some slices and the coffee is very good as well. 9 months later finally got breakfast here, and it's fantastic. Great serving and fantastic flavour. Greenhouse breakfast and French toast in pictures
Careless operation, visited here twice in the last six months, both times told kitchen closed well before 2PM when the open hours state 3PM. Both times all designated car parks were full where we had to pay for parking first to find out the cafe had decided to close at 1PM.
Absolutely amazing. We ordered a Glasshouse Breakfast and everything came out perfectly, the sausage was juicy and the egg was best it could possibly be. The muffins and scones were beyond delicious and came with butter in little packages. The decor in this place is AMAZING. Everything is so DIY and they have this vibe in which you are dining in a jungle with REAL TREES. Overall I would give this place a 5 star because of friendly service, delicious food, and a very warm feeling when you enter. Good job!
