Welcome to Glamour Cake Facebook page!

Here, you can find out a bit more about me (Bree Scott) and my delicious cake creations, including what’s on my daily menu, any upcoming surprises and how to order or purchase my products.

I am a local baker in Christchurch, New Zealand. I work at the Lyttelton Bakery most days of the week. I've been baking for six years and am the founder of Glamour Cake.

Glamour Cake goodies are available to buy from the Lyttelton Bakery. If you are planning a special trip across town to check out Glamour Cake, Saturday is usually the best day to visit. The shop is fully stocked with treats like donuts, freak shakes and lots of different flavours of cheesecakes and cakes!

I usually have one or two cheesecake selections available on weekdays, and freak shakes are available to order between 8am-2pm.

The menu changes every day, so keep an eye on this page for updates!

Mum and I got a chicken pie each which we both agreed was one of the nicest pies we've ever had. The pastry was delicious and the chicken sauce was so good. We shared a cookies and cream donut - although beautifully fresh we found it far too sweet. We found it strange they didn't have a drinks menu advertised.

To die for!! The pastry on the pies is probably the best I've ever eaten! The donuts are delicious. Only thing wrong is there are so many nice ones you have to go back again and again and again..... lol
It wasn't a good experience for me unfortunately. I'm sure the food is great, although pretty standard fare; we bought a very sweet cream donut which was good. The problem was the young staff member didn't know if they did Christmas orders. She kept telling me they wouldn't do it yet and couldn't tell me when or if they did take Christmas orders for what products. Then I used Paywave and was asked to touch the keypad to agree to pay more for the privilege before the transaction could go through. Please train your staff to inform people before they use Paywave. Never again.
Amazing, heard about this place from mates in Auckland. Just one thing for those visiting to make sure to bring cash or eftpos/debit only as they do not accept credit cards on site. Besides this there is a huge variety of sweet goodies to choose from.
Heard today it was a famous donut shop, so decided to try it out. Glad I did. : Very friendly staff. Creative large donut for $7. Would recommend checking out. - 1 December 2021

Honestly worth the drive out for a coffee date. Love it and love the service, the girls are always so welcoming and warm to be attended by. Thanks for another great experience ladies. Bless
Great range, great customer service but try to pick up cakes during the week rather than during the weekend. Due to the weekly market it can be incredibly hard to find a park. We ordered a giant donut in lieu of a birthday cake. My daughter says she wants it again for next year. Highly recommend
First time visiting Glamour Cake, lots of yummy donuts and cakes. I didn't notice any signs saying suitable for vegetarians near the donuts. Service was good and donut was delicious.
