Story

Go-Kan-Ryu Karate (GKR) is a traditional Japanese style of karate. GKR was founded by Robert Sullivan in Adelaide, South Australia. Robert first began training in the art of karate in 1964, and spent time training and teaching in both Japan and the USA before establishing GKR in 1984.

GKR Karate is taught in a non-contact environment and promotes both character and physical development. GKR is a club for all ages and promotes self-defence, fitness, coordination, discipline, confidence and stress relief.

People of all walks of life can train together and learn the art of karate in a safe, fun and encouraging environment.

I went to this school from year 0 all the way till year 6. I personally had a pretty good experience here and the learning was quite helpful. I made several close friends which I still am best/close friends to this day. The principal Mr Robinson was really good and friendly. I made countless great memories that I'll cherish forever. Overall a pretty good school, great for learning and making good relationships with everyone!

I went to this school a few years ago and I absolutely loved it! I've been to a few primary schools, but this one was the best! They are so good at teaching students and are really inclusive. If you want your child to get a GREAT education, I DEFINETLY recommend sending your child here! BEST primary school ever!

I went to that school for 6 years. The best years of my life 2004 - 2010

I cannot fault this school except for the fact I wish it was an Intermediate as well.
