We had a 1 bedroom apartment which was ideal. Good kitchen, nice shower etc and a pleasant layout. The apartments are in a great location and no need to use the car. Reception were very helpful. WIFI is very good. Reasonably priced. We have stayed in many apartments and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. I recommendRooms: 4/5
My stay here was excellent, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and the bed was super comfortable. The room was very spacious and had all amenities needed. Would definitely be back and recommend to others. Super central location as well!Rooms: 5/5
It is a good hotel. Modern and stylish look. The room was quite small room 206 and of course I could be wrong felt it was quite expensive for what I got. Having said that the room had a washer dryer and an adequate kitchenette. Maybe it’s a Wellington thing - expensive hotels. The room itself was good. A lot of light leaking in behind the curtains due to the car park across the road and a bit noisy from the outside - no double glazing. The bed was extremely comfortable and relatively new. The quilts were warm. The heating was good, though I arrived to a cold room. The bathroom was also small, but very clean and serviceable. I didn’t use all amenities except the soap and it was good quality. There was a coffee plunger and excellent plunger coffee provided with abundant milk. The tea was also good quality. Central location. saw a note on the envelope to come to reception to get a present only saw on last day and I was gifted a box of chocolates. What a thoughtful thing to do. Thank you team.
Gilmer Apt Hotel is a charming, quiet and perfectly located place to stay in Welly. The apartments are clean, functional and well designed as well as providing a calm and enjoyable little environment. I felt very at home right away and would highly recommend this hotel.
Stayed a couple of nights in a Twin. Location is ideal for city or Victoria Uni. The hotel is small is the scheme of city center hotels, which made ot feel homely. Staff were helpful and excellent communication. Rooms was tidy and clean. I will be recommending it to others.
Very helpful reception staff, made everything easy and went extra mile to assist with booking and stay in general. Flat was well maintained, comfortable and spacious and light. Very comfortable for a family and very quiet and convenient to town. Highly recommendedRooms: 4/5
Great hotel where we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It has a lovely boutique feel and had everything we needed. Brilliant location close to everything just a short walk away. Will definitely stay again.Rooms: 4/5
I stayed at this location for 5 weeks it was very convenient and more or less comfortable. While the main room could stay quite warm with the heater, the bedroom was a bit drafty as is typical of most buildings in NZ I’ve experienced. The one real negative was the room location next to a parking garage/hotel so there were often bright lights that seeped into the room, even with the room darkening curtains and we often heard bottles being dumped into recycling very late at night and very early in the morning. Other than that the place was clean enough, the staff was very accommodating and it was convenient to have a small kitchenette for the few nights I did not want to go out and explore. Having access to habit health center was a major plus! Thank you for the stay.
What a great stay! Such a handy, central spot and the staff were so lovely, warm and helpful. Everything was clean and housekeeping were helpful and friendly too. Great all round experience thank you.
Had a great stay at Gilmer! The room is well equipped with all amenities, the bed is very comfortable and the rooms are super quiet for a super central location. Staff are amazing. Would recommend and stay againRooms: 5/5
