No brainer stop. Had the cheese scone and Cheese and Ham toasted roll - both next level. Bike hire for trails out front, food and wine in amazing surroundings - well done to whoever put this together.
Stunning spot. Fantastic wine tour and guide was very informative. The restaurant served an exquisite lunch and the wine is
Really looking forward to trying out the cheese as this place was recommended by my sister. We went to the Cheesery part and was completely ignored by the shop assistant. She actually hid in the back of the store until we went up to the register to pay where she reluctantly served us. I was looking to buy quite a bit of cheese to take home with us but ended up buying just the one block. Went away feeling quite disappointed. Won’t be coming back for sure.
Alex was great, even while they were having power issues we still had a tasting flight with cheeses. Excellent knowledge and she catered to our intermediate experience with wines. Excellent cheeses too, I especially liked the blue
Me and hubby came to visit on Monday 3rd of this month, had a coffee and we bought some wine and chocolate for my friend as a present for looking after our furrybabies, however, my friend came back the next day told me the chocolate pack was already out of date back on February 18th 2021, I dont mean to make a fuss about it but I think it shouldn't be sold or at least customers need to be informed. I have to say the chocolate is delicious though and I always love you wine.
Very good wine bought two bottles and nice cheese
Incredible service. The wine tour is highly recommended. The food and wine is absolutely amazing. The views, the atmosphere absolutely everything is amazing.
Not that impressed. Wanted to taste some chees and she gave us a taste and then i asked can i taste 2 of your hard cheeses and anotherone that she would highly recomend. She said yes i will go and have look .We waited and as we were looking on the shelf near the till she came out and said is that all. I asked where is the tasters and her reply was o no we only do one taste a day. So i only bought the one i tasted and a a brie would of like to buy more but no thanks .
Heavenly and expensive wine, formidable chef
Came for lunch at the Cheesery & Deli and ordered a cheese scone. I asked what kind of cheese was in it as I am allergic to goats cheese and was told it was "like a cheddar". The food came and having smelt the scone, I knew it had goats cheese in it. I asked the staff again for reassurance and was told it definitely did not have goats cheese in by one lady and another staff member said she simply didn't know. Soon enough, the lady ran after me saying it did have goats cheese in! It's lucky I didn't eat it... This is now the second time this has happened and as a Cheesery, I would expect the staff to know what cheese is being used in their products. I was offered no apology, and no alternatives and this is extremely disappointing for a place with such a high reputation.
