The owner was very welcoming from the time we arrived until we left. There were 6 of us, including 2 kids, and we all fit comfortably. Staying on the ground floor was really convenient, especially with the children.nnAlthough it mentioned bunk beds, it was actually a fold-out couch and a single bed in the lounge, which worked well for us. The place is close to the motorway, but we couldn’t hear any noise from our room Room 7 at the back corner.nnThe only downside was that it got quite hot, so I’d suggest using the fans. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely come back. The photos don’t do it justice either—it was very clean, tidy, and more modern than it looks.
My marching team, Broadway United, stayed at Gateway Motor Inn for three nights. We cannot fault this place. We booked seven rooms and all were immaculate. Very comfortable beds. Booking was easy. Staff were lovely. Although the motel is close to the motorway, we didn't find it noisey. Maybe windows double glazed. Good location. Would recommend Gateway Motor Inn. You won't be disappointed.
Don’t waste your money ! Much better accommodation easy to find for the same money.nOut Xmas holiday ruined by basic old room with no kitchen sink, no service until specific request for clean towels at least. Car park well away from our room which was upstairs for a senior couple with no lift. We asked for a downstairs unit but the manageress said the were full yet we saw vacant rooms during our entire stay. She had no interest in giving us assistance. As for our dog supposedly pet friendly placing us at the top of the staircase the main thoroughfare where the constant stream of traffic prevented our poor dog from ever settling properly. Very inconvenient and inconsiderate.nLook elsewhere.
Great facilities, room was super clean & hosts were very friendly.nA little bit on the outskirts but only a short drive to town.nClose to the train tracks - trains travelling through the evening / night & could be disruptive if you're a light sleeper. However we weren't inconvenienced by it.
Excellent service, called to say I would be late to check in and room was arranged to be accessible for my late arrival.nRoom was clean, bed was comfortable and I couldn’t ask for anything more.nWould happily return again.
