stayed here for emergency housing and they were very welcoming, staff were so nice, helped me with all my questions and things, room was homely only negative comments i can make is there was an ant problem, no HDMI cord for the TV & the insides of the bedside table drawers weren’t clean. no biggies, was a very nice stay and i would stay here again.

Enjoyed my stay here. Was spoilt for choice of which bed to sleep in, opted for the one closest to a TV.Rooms: 5/5
It was just ok. Stayed two nights Friday and Saturday, we left for the day on Saturday and came back and the room hadn't been serviced, no clean towels and beds not made. The motel was supposed to service the rooms as stated but they didn't. I had to go down to reception around 7pm to ask for fresh towels. Because of this, only two stars. Basic room.
We loved our stay. Modern refurbished room that was very clean and had everything we needed. Bed was nice and comfy and the staff are very friendly. Good location for walking down to the Mount and shops/cafes etc. We hope to stay again when next in the area.Rooms: 5/5
Was very impressed. Spotlessly clean well done to housekeeping team! Bed comfortable and large although would have to agree with a couple of previous comments about very stiff and noisy sheets, maybe less starch. Would definitely stay again.
We found that for 2 adults n 2 adult sized teenagers, the room we were put in wasn't big enough. The sofa bed is just awful n u can feel every spring poking thru the mattress so my son didn't get any sleep at all for the 2 nights we were there. They also initially hadn't given us any bedding for the sofa bed. When we asked for some, we were given everything except for a quilt so went without on night. Not enough towels given for the 4 of us either.
Good clean comfortable. Pleasant stay. Bathroom needs attention and maintenance. scuffed paint chipping shower needs a good clean of the glass and toilet didnt always flush properly. bit on the expensive side for what we got. other than that was comfortable.
Booked direct 1 night stay..1 x large corner bath..What we got was a disability room with 1 x large door. Brought to attention of reception..contacted owners..refunded $10 who questioned their own booking confirmation as correct. Mmmmmmmmm
We drove into Tauranga late at night with no place to stay. We weren't able to read reviews before we rented the room for the night. We were pleasantly surprised. It was huge with 2 separate bedrooms, a main room with couch, TV with tons of stations and a stocked kitchen and an awesome bathroom. The toilet had a separate door then the room with the shower which was one of the largest showers I've ever seen and the bathroom was far enough from the rooms that you wouldn't wake anyone if you took a shower. This allowed us to get ready so much easier in the morning. This was the ONLY hotel we stayed in the whole time we were in New Zealand that had unlimited wifi - the other hotels said free wifi, but only allowed 250MB or 1000MB use for the whole time. It's 1 minute to the beach - and we LOVED the beach. The volcano walk yielded incredible views. The beaches were filled with shells and if you wash them well beforehand, Australia and the USA allow you to import them. You can walk to the little island off the beach as well. We loved Tauranga and this hotel.
