"Welcome to the Aro Cellar Door; a bottle shop and tasting room where you can get freshly crafted beer, straight from the source.We are currently in the Orange setting, so please make sure you have a mask to wear while in our venue.We have 8 rotating beer taps and 2 rotating wild wine taps, all available for your tasting pleasure. Bring your own vessel to fill, or grab one of ours - throw in a couple of cans for good measure and maybe a bottle of something to share over dinner."

I was told that Garage Project is the best brewery in Wellington. The ambiance was lovely & energetic. The flavours were unique & I was glad that they had tasters. There are many non-alcoholic options for teetotallers as well. The staff was good.
Man what an experience. We where allowed to try all of their beers on tap for free. And they are unbelivable good. Different flavours and very intense. Was amazing
Only for takeaway - goto the taproom down the street to try the beers!
If you want a flaggin but not in town for long then ask about there loan ones! Just like a boomerang they fly back home Amazing that I could get my favourite beer in the famous big glass
I visited the cellar door some years ago and to this day, I still remember how good it was! Welcoming staff, friendly advice and easy to understand expertise, free tastings and just such a quality product, always. All hail Garage Project!
AMAZING place a must visit for every craft beer drinker... this is where it all started.
Now you need your vaccine pass to buy beers ! The staff are unpleasant, especially the brown haired woman, several times when I came she was rude and disagreeable. You win the pot !! I won come back again. Fortunately there are lot of good craft beer brewery around...
Awesome Beers
This place is pretty cool. It's important to mention, this isn't a bar but where you can buy their beer. Great selection and they offer tastings.
Great service. Been using one of their flagons for tap beer for years, lost the lid and following a quick email 2 days later two free lids arrived at my door. Very appreciated.Thank you!
