Story

I am apart of the Ganda toy line originally started by George in Christchurch. GANDA standing for Guaranteed Affordable Natural Durable Action toys.
All the toys and furniture are made from 18mm MDF and painted with kiddy proof paints. Over 30 different designs for the pull and push along toys.
Tables and chairs and some toys are made with the laminate mdf.
The wheels are offset giving the toy that wobbly effect.

This is a hobby business and I make toys in my free time allowing me to work around my kids.

Been here several times, purchased several items. All have been excellent experiences at both the new and former locations of the store. By far the most complete figures, sets, etc..offered here than any other comparable shop in the region beyond it too, and all have displayed great. Prices are fair considering the complete state of the items and as someone who has purchased an item then separately tracked down the missing accessories it is definitely so much easier and cost effective to be able to purchase a complete item from Bounty Hunter. Store is and definitely will continue to be my first stop for any item I am looking for in the future!
I love this place! New store looks fantastic, amazing selection and the prices are fair. Mike's a great guy, been shopping at Bounty Hunter for over 20 years. You want to add to your collection or start a new one, hit this place up.
Bounty Hunter Toys is a Hamilton institution. The proprietor provides the bar which all collectibles' stores in the area should be judged upon. Most vintage items are in excellent shape and if any items are missing from the collectible it is noted on the price tag. The new store's layout is well organized, well lit and a pleasure to leisurely browse. The prices are competitive and the staff are generally very helpful and polite. I have read of others having issues with Mike and though I found him to be a bit gruff in the past, he can be characterized as a no nonsense, straight shooter type of guy. The high level of professionalism and heart he put into his business has keep me coming here 20+ years. Highly recommended.

Always friendly! A good and large inventory of various collectibles. Prices are fair, staff is knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Always going out of their way to interact with customers. 10/10 recommend! Can't wait to go back
Walked ready to drop $300. Left with nothing because of guy’s terrible attitude. He got rattled when I asked to see the condition of a used in box item. He claimed it was in great condition. He finally opened it and it had dried up Play Doh on it.
sent 2 separate emails asking if you had any accessories for a g i joe . no response . Found at another local shop The original email was sent march 21st . Second was sent May 2 through your website . A customer shouldn't have to reach out on multiple avenues to spend money at your shop. Thank you for your response .
I’m in visiting family from the west coast and love to check out toy collector shops in search of three elusive action figures from my Holy Grail list. I’ve been searching all over BC and the internet trying to find these items and I find one of my items I’ve been looking for at an amazing price. Great owners and a great location, you got to check it out!
Very friendly and welcoming as soon as I walked in. Prices are definitely fair, the stock and items alone are worth the trip. Nostalgia come to life. Very recommended store. I will be back
Thought I would provide a fresh review for the new location. The new store is much larger with lots more stock. Much more room to walk around and browse without getting in people's way. All the displays are laid out in an organized fashion. Wrestling, Transformers, Star Wars, Superheroes, this place has it all. Don't see it? Ask anyway, they might have it in the back. Mike is always a great guy to chat with. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Great shop you don't want to miss.
