At Furnace Prayer Room (formerly known as Tauranga House of Prayer), we create a space for New Zealand to encounter God in the place of worship & prayer, become equipped to love Him wholeheartedly & be empowered to do the greater works He invited us into.

Story

We invite kiwi and foreigner alike into a culture that revolves around the knowledge of God in order to encourage and gather the body of Christ to make the name of Jesus great in the earth.

I love this place! My life has changed, and the team there really walked with me. My favorite part is the prayer room. It’s great that there’s a safe place for the Tauranga community to come and be part of a family. I can’t wait to bring my family here one day.
When I came to YWAM Furnace to do a Discipleship Training School, I was so nervous being so far away from home. But as soon as I stepped into campus I immediately felt at home. The team were really intentional, and made me feel seen, loved, and supported. My time with YWAM Furnace was such a marking experience for me!
YWAM Furnace is really unique. The team here genuinely cares about people and I have grown so much in my relationship with God. The prayer room is a key part of the community and an amazing place to worship, pray, and spend time with God. I have been so blessed by this place.
Love the culture and the vision of the Furnace community. It is truly a place to come and encounter God, be equipped to function in your calling then be sent to go bring increase on the earth
