Story

We are an alfresco live band bar situated in Central Whangarei, ranging from duo's right through to 5 piece bands 5 days a week. We are the only micro-brewery in Northland and we provide outstanding German brewed beer. Our friendly staff will serve you at your table or at the bar at low cost. We have a wide range of food on our menu, from bar snacks to a full dinner menu. Come down and try one of our famous wood fired pizzas and specialty brewed beer today.

Went 4 lunch with my family we werent sure what 2 expect and it was well worth it and 4 money. The pizza was awesome my kids loved it. The atmosphere was choice 2 and also offered a jug of coke for my kids. I would highly recommend for all walks of life.

The easiest 5 star I've given! Big portion sizes, really well made and presented, the kids size fish bites portion was bigger than the child eating it! Girl behind the counter serving was really nice and friendly, Soooo coming back!
Great place to have a good cold Tap beer and woodfired pizza after work. Good friendly local atmosphere. Nice covered outdoor area and occasional bands on.

Great end of the day pub, nice and casual with good selection of beer on tap and nice big serves of food.
The small share platter us huge. There was 7 of us and we ordered the two platters, small size. Honestly I think we could almost have done with just the one. Good value for $30. It was very hot and there is no indoor seating, so no air con but overall good place to eat and have beer.
Been here few times, great food fair prices what more can you ask for.
