Late stop to get gas and ended up grabbing some chips from here. The best chips I've ever had. Thick cut with soft and pillowy inside with super crunchy almost transparent outsidereminiscent of how a good baked potato gets. A week later and I'm still dreaming of it. If it wasn't 150km from me, I would eat there weekly. Will have to be happy stopping in on way up to family.
Stopped through Wellsford to grab some snacks for a road trip and ended up spotting the cheeky chicken bit behind the counter. Out of interest I had a little look at the menu board and the whole thing spoke magic to me. I decided on the $12 lunch snack with 1 drumstick, 1 thigh and regular chips. What an absolute golden idea. Scran was banging, the chicken was proper crispy and dead delish. The chips were iconic with the chicken salt. Absolutely sorted, banging, happy and feeling accomplished. Definitely recommend. 10/10 definitely gonna keep an eye out for another 4 Square shop but I don’t think any could top that succulent mini meal I just had the pleasure of experiencing. Honestly worth the price and rivals KFC as the size of the chicken was great. Beautiful puffy chips, not the soggy mess at most fast food places. Shout out to the lady behind the counter who sorted me with the biggest fattest pieces of chicken I’ve seen in my life - much appreciated!nnIf you’re passing by Wellsford and fancy a reyt nice fill up - get the chicken meals! Feeling phenomenal and ready for anything, not sick, heavy or overdone like other food spots. What a gem! xxx
Small but friendly people. Was able to stock up for a week supply easy enough.
Bought a toast bread yesterday, today it was all moldy. Fresh chicken smelled rotten after opening the lid. Safety hazards all around. Don’t go.
Had to stop here on our way north and got the chicken and chip box OMGoodness the weight in that box!! the chicken was hot fresh and totally delicious but the Chips I have not seen a takeaways let alone a 4 square do such good chips before - THICK CUT and perfectly cooked - Well done!! Already recommended to others :-
