Love the biltong here! The Chakalaka flavor is the best. This is the best biltong I’ve found in the Rodney area. Cool little shop with tons of unique items. Staff was super friendly and gave us great descriptions of the different flavors of biltong when we were trying to decide. Will definitely be a return customer here.
First-time new customer. On my way to Whangarei, I stopped here and bought biltong & droë works. Ok, biltong not South African standard, 4.5/10, droë wors 2/10 I threw it away. The Service 1/10. The older lady was nasty, not friendly, and a total hack; I felt like I didn't belong in the store, so I kept quiet. I'll let this review speak for itself. Will I go back? Never. When will people realise: Provide excellent service and good quality food!
Fantastic range of South African products. Unfortunately their prices leave much to be desired. Easily the most expensive South African stockist I have come across in New Zealand.nFor edible essentials and alcohol, go somewhere else, but for that interesting curio, it's a great place to browse.
Interesting shop with lots of variety. They sell biscuits, sauces, herbs, etc etc. Something for everyone
A reminder of home! Take a walk around the South African wonderland that is Biltong Plus. They have an extensive range of groceries plus memorabilia like potjie pots, wooden carved statues and beaded jewellery. A great pit stop on the way North!
