Free assessment, individual & group therapy, counselling & support for parents/caregivers with concerns about their emotional wellbeing since having a baby - For adult parents with a baby under the age of one year in the Rotorua Region
Provides support and counselling to parents/caregivers who are feeling distressed, are struggling to manage and who are concerned about their emotional wellbeing since having their baby. For those who live in the Rotorua Region, are over 18, and have a baby under 1 year of age who is still in their care.
Individual counselling and support for mothers, fathers and primary caregivers. Group therapy programme (Mother Matters), and weekly Open Mornings. On-site care provided for babies under 1year while mothers attend groups. Home or office based initial meetings. Fully funded by Lakes District Health Board.
Previous clients work within the service offering support and community education.
