Cochins are known to be good pet hens for the garden, as they are tame and regarded as one of the most 'friendly' chicken breeds.

Story

I am breeding large Cochins & also have a small breeding group of Orpingtons, Pekin Bantams, a few project breeds / colors & also cross breeds.
I can supply eggs from any group during the season. also have chicks through to adults for sale at various times of the year.

Prices are as follows...
hatching eggs
$3.50 for Cochins / silver pencilled wyandottes / white orpingtons / D'Uccles
$3 for other Orpingtons
$2.00 for pekins, silkies, xbreds.
i post eggs all over NZ.

$5.- $10 for unsexed chicks. 1 day old - 4 wks
$12.00 for sexed chicks (pullets) 5 wks, price goes up $2 per week from 5 wks.

can supply cockerals if ordered in advance. :)

postage for eggs as follows.
1/2 doz $5 post bag, $1 plastic container.
1 doz $6.50 post bag, $5 sistema 2L.
2 doz $9 post bag, $6 italio 5L.
3 doz $9 post bag?, $10 sistema 7L. ( need to check this option).
