What a great campground! The pool and facilities are beautiful, well maintained and clean. I wasn't sure what to expect after the previous review but I was actually amazed with how nice and clean everything was and the bush behind makes it so tranquil! Lots of cool details including the swimwear dryer in the ladies changing room. Definitely keen to come back again!
Private pools with a choice of a closed, semi-closed and open roof. Own toilet and open shower. Clean and well maintained. Very relaxing, rejuvenating and affordable.
Went on a mild clear winters evening. A stunning spot to relax and watch the stars. The temp ranges at each end of the pool. The facilities seemed clean and tidy. The place is a little dated but who cares when you are all cosy and warm. Worth a detour and a nice place to unwind after exploring the wider Tauranga area.
Absolutely love soaking here it's such a lovely place. The main pool is surrounded by bush which gives a relaxing atmosphere.nTip always bring a water bottle I felt a bit dizzy afterwards, but I prob had been in too long.
Tonight the attendant was quite nice and I thought the greenery throughout looked lush and well maintained. While I’m not a fan of the new dark pool bottom, I was willing to overlook the change. However, the water appeared yellow from the entrance, and once in the pool, it was clear that the seating areas were in need of a thorough clean or a fresh coat of paint. The shower water had a strange odour too. We usually love coming here to swim in the crystal-blue mineral waters and I hope this review is helpful for the new owners.
