A great collection of native plants many of which are only together in this garden, which has one of the most extensive collections in the country. About 15min walk around. Some tracks are currently closed due to kauri dieback. A must see for outdoor enthusiasts, and educational for kids. Dog friendly with leads!
Beautiful native plant gardens and swap painted rocks
Wow what a nice collection of natives, great place for a walk, especially wen I am the only person here. Saturday 4 January 2020.
A lovely chance to see and recognise common and rare native plants. A real treasure, nicely laid out.
If you love nature and rock hunting, then this is the place to visit
