Very friendly staff. Couldn't be more helpful. Rooms and facilities were clean and well appointed. Food was great. Plenty of choice. Maybe could do with a breakfast option. We had to travel to New Plymouth for breakfast. We had a great weekend at the Fern Lodge. Would certainly recommend it.
Great spot. Close to everything. Reasonable facilities. Good friendly service. Did not try the retsaraunt but the menu looked good. Roast on Sundays!

Old pub, very rural feel, but good price and good food. We had the Sunday Roast here, and enjoyed it, but nothing special.
it was really a good experience being there last night, reasonable pricing, excellent food which is not so expensive and a beautiful ambiance of feeling like in a small palace. altogether a 5 star for being perfect worth for the money being billed.
