Fergusson Intermediate School

Fergusson Intermediate is probably one of the best schools in Upper Hutt. It's great for overachievers like me and the teaching support there was great for students over all spectrums. Everyone including those with learning disabilities who were especially looked after was included and supported by teachers and catered to.nnThere I especially enjoyed the trips and techs through rotations they offer since they are one of the only intermediates/schools that I see at region-wide competitions and seminars. Their tech rotations and equipment is also great quality and you learn a lot about all the hands-on learning like food, coding, STEAM, sewing and the arts performance and visual.nnFergy is also really culturally inclusive at least I felt so because it only took me suggesting an unformed idea for me to be called into Mr Kenny the principal's office for further discussion on how the school could implement it! It was amazing to get to finally celebrate Diwali with a school in NZ and have a Bollywood Dance Club where I could embrace my own culture while teaching the whole school about it!nnI loved going to this school my two years of intermediate and have achieved many things there including being featured on FairGo thanks to the super helpful and encouraging teachers who are really easy to talk to! I mean, considering that I'm coming back to writing this review and adding this amazing school to google maps a year or two after 'graduating' just shows how worth it this school really is :

Some teachers were mean and racist and biased,NOT RECOMMENDED

Less of a hell hole than other intermediates nearby. Would probably recommend.
