Very mediocre ... still long wait even tho on airport
Don't bother with the local phone number for the Christchurch Airport Europcar branch. It just goes to an offshore call centre for reservations. I was told that for my query the only way I can get an answer is to email an Australian email address. That's not a good way to reward a Privilege Elite member if you ask me.
No compassion during covid lockdown, better take photos of the car before and after you pick it up, they will find some small flaw and charge excessively!
For folk NOT arriving by airplane, key pickup OTHER than inside airport would be more convenient, less costly for taxi waiting with luggage
