Coordinating: By establishing strong networks to extend the understanding of the wider issues relating to creating a sustainable community by representation, creating affiliations, sharing information and supporting like-minded organisations.

Educating:By raising the level of community awareness, consumer practices and behaviours of sustainable and environmentally friendly activities.
By running community courses, conducting presentations, seminars and forums.By identifying relevant information sources and gathering and distributing to interested parties.

Really helpful and friendly team. I did some research on bokashi bins and these guys have the cheapest options plus the staff are really knowledgable and helpful giving advice. The free special recycling is awesome too! So easy to use. They also sell upcycled electronics for super reasonable prices.
Whilst the idea is good, they were going to charge me $76 later offered to charge $56 for 2 working printers, 1 each working monitor & PC making all saleable. Doing the 'right thing' needs a reality check when the cost is more than a days take-home pay for many people, moreso when it only cost $12 to take it to the transfer station. Just to add to the disappointment, after tallying charges from their website, I get $46 total.
Fantastic place - from refilling household products to minimise single use plastic and the product is more concentrated so you use less to attending workshops on improving composting. Staff are extremely helpful. The environment centre is the way to take personal steps or learn how to, to improve the health of our environment.
Excellent and very helpful as per usual. It's so great they take most items for recycling now. I only have one kitchen tidy bag a week in the rubbish now for a fily of 3/4
Always great service. Friendly and knowledgeable. Able to deal with a wide range of materials for recycling. The new upcycled electronics is a great idea. Good stuff at good prices
Friendly staff who are passionate about what they do. I am very glad that a service like this exists for recycling batteries and e-waste, as it is a crying shame that toxic materials end up in the landfill. Keep up the good work!
A fantastic non profit organisarion that are proactive towards achieving waste minimisation. E-waste refurbished to sell, ecokiosk refillery, composting options, specialist recycling and so much more! Such friendly and helpful volunteers and staff
Awesome facility in Hawke's Bay, to be able to recycle the odd things that can't go in the curb side recycling, and be able to fill up on household products. Great customer service to boot, all in all highly recommend.
Welcoming staff, happy to help with lots of great advise. Also love being able to recycle all my hard to recycle items.
