The vision and design aesthetic of Endsleigh Park (formally Blackwood Park) has always been to seamlessly blend town with country.
Endsleigh Park is an environment where all residents have a share in and free access to 18 hectares of beautifully landscaped, well-treed and maintained common land. This common land boasts a well-planned selection of walkways, cycleways, sport and recreational areas, gardens and fruit trees, wetlands, ponds and extensive native re-vegetation.
In addition to the 30,000 trees planted to date, Endsleigh Park also features amenity plantings, landscape art and magnificent sculptural pieces along with common areas for socialising. Tree and shrub planting has been ongoing for 22 years, a wonderful consequence of which it that even on the top ridges there are stunning, mature trees. These plantings also extend between the house sites encouraging bird life whilst providing much-desired shelter and privacy.
From Endsleigh Parks’ inception, extra care has been taken to preserve and maximise the long-term integrity of the landscape to ensure its function as a sustainable, low-input ecosystem. Once these areas were established, 25 house sites were then designed to fit within this landscape. Each site has been planned with a building envelope to protect visual and acoustic privacy. Endsleigh Park’s development has specific covenant requirements in place to maintain and protect the surrounding environment and the aesthetic enjoyed by individual investors.
The house sites have typically been arranged along ridge lines in small clusters with common areas in which to encourage social interaction and a feeling of security among residents. The Endsleigh Park residential layout ensures that the house sites will enjoy breathtaking views whilst also allowing for excellent privacy.
The lot sizes vary according to topography but are typically just over a quarter acre, or 1100 square metres in size.
This philosophy fits with our desire to create a village-type atmosphere within an ecological framework that will grow and develop for generations to come.
