Stopped off due to vehicle breakdown in an unfamiliar town needing a place to stay near to the mechanic and the town centre as I would be walking everywhere.nElliott’s had a spacious room with double and single bed, tv, heat pump, desk, couch, fridge, bathroom that had shower and a spa bath! that was warm, immaculately clean, quiet and had a shared outdoor area to sit. There was parking spaces, and the motel was five minutes walk from the mechanic and two minutes walk from the town shopping centre and mall. The staff were friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. My check in was easy and quick. And the price for what was essentially a lovely, clean, safe, quiet little studio apartment was so reasonable! I have no hesitation recommending the Motel. I didn’t find any problems with my accomodation or booking at all. It is also privately owned, not a big chain, so the owner obviously takes pride in his business.
Comfortable, warm rooms with Sky television, good water pressure and a spa bath. A little bit dated but perfectly functional. Easy walk to the train station and close to local places to eat.
Everything was more than good. Hotel was comfortable and clean. Welcoming staff. Great location. Although motel building was a little tired it represented excellent value for money.
Stayed 2 nights. Good parking. Quiet even though on main road. Room needed a spruce up. Clean and well appointed though. No cooking facilities. Jug, toaster and microwave. Crockery used replaced daily. Not a very friendly welcome in reception. I was rung 3 times on the day if arrival to see what time we would be arriving. Location good. Shopping mall nearby.
Plenty of room for the kids to play around in the back yard. It's safe and inviting.nThe room was very warm and cozy, and the spa was divine, had everything I needed for the weekend I stayed. Staff members are helpful/friendly and the gentleman in the office made sure I/all guest were looked after. Will definately come back to stay
