Had a great experience at Charlotte's Kitchen, beautiful ambience upon entry, we arrived a little early for our booking, but the staff were very friendly and got us our seat straight away. Our food came very timely, entrees were really fresh and delicious. And the mains really well cooked, the steak was tender and juicy, and the fish was just perfect. I'd highly recommend this place on your next trip to Paihia but be sure to book early, as these guys are popular!
Went for dinner by the waters at this beautiful restaurant- definitely weren't let down from the moment we arrived, a bit early but seated immediately. Attentive and knowledgeable server. Tried the Oysters and hands down best Oysters we have had! Beautiful food overall and a scenic restaurant!
Beautiful restaurant right on the water, we unfortunately had a miserable wet evening for our dinner but it would be absolutely amazing to be there on a sunny evening overlooking the water! Had squid to start and they were delicious. For mains we had scotch fillet and it was cooked to perfection, melt in your mouth it was the nicest steak I've had in a long time!
Nice spot on the water. Service and food has improved significantly since last year. The pizza dough has definitely been improved to a higher standard and as a whole are much better. The burger was amazing. The sashimi is good. The oysters were good. Main concerns are that it can be a long wait to be seen at the entrance regardless of whether you have booked and the price of the pizza is very expensive. I've never seen a pizza at $32-$33 before.
Went in for lunch but they only had pizza and sides at that time which was okay with us, the pizza we had were the best pizza I had this year. thank you for friendly service much appreciated. Also they have a really good view nice to chill. Parking: street parking
The food was bloody marvelous! Atmosphere was on point, a good opportunity to have breakfast, lunch or dinner with a large group. Would definently go again, the restuarant made our visit to Paihia an enjoyable experience as a whole. Thank you to the waitress for taking dedicated group photos of us, that was much appreciated. Dietary restrictions: We had a vegan at our table of 12 and he was catered for
The pizzas are better than the mains. Food was a bit salty but they were still tasty and yummy. Dessert we ordered panna cotta, it's average. Overall still a nice restaurant.
I could not rave more about our experience at Charlotte’s Kitchen on Saturday evening. We hosted a family reunion there with difficult dietary requirements almost half of us are coeliac! and the food was exquisite. We dealt with the night manager, Michelle, and her bubbly and attentive manner was unparalleled compared to any restaurant I can think of. We ordered a series of canapes, cheese boards and drinks and all exceeded expectation. The whole family came away raving about the quality of the food and service and a two-hour event turned into dinner and many, many more drinks too. The biggest thank you to Michelle and the Chef at Charlotte’s Kitchen for making our weekend. If we were staying longer we would have gone back for breakfast, lunch and dinner without a doubt! Awesome restaurant right at the end of the wharf overlooking the water from all sides. The food is easily the best we've had in the bay of islands. Super fun vibe with funky cocktail cups. The fish of the day & oysters with lemon mignonette are must trys! We will be back :
Absolutely fantastic spot on the pier and they are dog friendly!! The pizzas are delicious and seriously huge, very generous portion sizes. Also is a great spot for gluten free options - the GF base was super yum too.
