If you prefer the walk, it's only 20-minutes and you can explore the Oamaru town centre and historic (Victorian) precinct including the Harbour, Forrester Gallery, Opera House, North Otago Museum, mysterious Steampunk HQ and various local dining options. And then, it is only 7-10minutes drive to the world's smallest Little Blue penguins and Yellow Eyed penguins.
