The EcoCentre is a hub for community groups working in the Far North with an environmental and sustainability focus. We work with groups and local government to bolster the resilience of our local community drawing on a strong tradition of kaitiakitanga, or stewardship, which has long defined the Māori relationship with land and sea, and now inspires new generations of residents from all backgrounds.
