Fanbelt exploded on the way down to Gisborne on a Saturday afternoon.nNo other mechanics were open/available in Whakatane, I found East Coast Heavy Diesel and called, the person who answered the phone was helpful and advised that it would likely be an expensive callout because they need to charge the callout fee and minimum hours.nI was stuck and left without any other choice so I agreed.nnThe mechanic came out within around 20mins of the call and was really helpful. He noticed that another belt was on it's way out so he changed that as well.nnThe whole job took about 1.5-2hours and I was back on the road again.nWhen the invoice came in a couple of days later it was only about 2/3rds of what the estimate was.nnReally impressed with the quality of the work, the ability to do top quality call out work, great communication, and then to top it off the job was cheaper than I had agreed to pay for.nnTop company
10/10 for service, communication and standard of work. We took our 63 year old housebus and have had a new lease of life.
