Steepest street in the world! One of the interesting tourist destinations in Dunedin. There used to be an annual event here called jaffa race by Cadbury. Kids loved it but the race is now memories of the past.
Cool to see. There is a water fountain at the top. The houses at the steepest part have grown bushes out the front so it loses its effect in photos.
Amazing to watch the steepest street of the world. The best part is there are stairs too in case you aren't comfortable climbing all the way up! Worth visiting.
If you hear some of the things that have been done on this slope then walking up and down it is a piece of cake. I think the Highlanders have a good training opportunity waiting here.
Baldwin Street is one go our favourite places to visit in Dunedin. It’s the steepest street and the world and it definitely shows when you get there. You can spend your time walking up to the top where there is a cute little seating bench and some great views. Also their is a shop around the bottom where you can purchase a certificate.
Cool little street, not far from the city centre and the incline is not too hard to walk up, interesting houses and gardens and superb views along the way, well worth visiting.
Its Pretty Steep. a must do. Best not to drive up as no parking at the top.
