First time here and we loved it. Food was delicious and piping hot just the way we like it. Steak was amazing perfect color on the inside . Service was lovely as well, staff were very attentive and came to check up on us throughout our meal which was great. Price is very reasonable for generous portions. We will be back .

I recently visited Doolan Brothers Pub with a group of colleagues for a colleague's last day and had an amazing time! The service was top-notch, our server was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The atmosphere was lively and upbeat, making for a great environment to catch up and celebrate. The food was fantastic, we all had different meals and everyone was impressed with the quality and flavors of their dishes. The pub's menu had a wide range of options to choose from, including traditional pub favorites and more unique dishes. The drinks were also great, we enjoyed a variety of beers and ciders. Overall, Doolan Brothers Pub exceeded our expectations and we had a fantastic time. It's the perfect spot for a night out with friends, a special occasion, or even a business lunch. I would highly recommend this pub to anyone looking for great food, drinks, and service in a fun atmosphere.
Big servings sizes, really good flavour and an awesome first table experience. The chicken and mushroom pie is highly recommended. Would come back.
Popped in the other evening for a beer. Lovely venue, quiz night was on. Unfortunately I waited for 5 minutes to be served at a bar that had no one queuing up. Bar lady saw me and carried on filling up water bottles. Host responsibility is important, but she looked at me and carried on finishing the task. You know what, I don't mind waiting but a "hello," and a "wont be long" would not have gone amiss. When I ordered my drink she seemed inconvenienced and puts the glass on the bar roughly and spilling a little. I'm not going to hold that against this establishment, and I get it. Hospo is stressful. I had a stressful day too, and wanted a quiet one, but was left feeling a little unwelcome. I've had great experiences here years ago. Hopefully this does not turn into a pattern. Probably a one-off.
Came for dinner while visiting Auckland. Nice music nicer staff best pie. Then my all mighty Guiness. Must to visit place when u r in Auckland.Food: 5/5

Asthetic place with excellent food. Enjoyed watching Olympics with friends. Cool place to hangout with friends and family.
I had chicken schnitzel, with egg, chips and coleslaw. Good portion and very delicious. First time there great experience. The waitress always checked to see if we needed anything. Wonderful customer service.
Gave Doolans 3* about year ago. Came back yesterday! And damn the food really improved. Had a lamb rump and wow. Best dish I had this month! Seriously yum! And massive portion! Fried chicken also great. Staff is supernice and the menu is so much better! So much have improved . The menu is different than the one I found online waay better
