Check-in was quick, and the bedding was clean and neatly arranged. There was also a small kitchen, which made it easy to prepare simple meals. All the staff were friendly, and the parking area was spacious. It was convenient because the pier, restaurants, and shops were all within walking distance.
Went for a night paid $260 n was hit by a storm which the motel was aware of as it was hitting north side was left with no means of power as I travelled with my 7 year old n my 10 months old we checked in at 5 pm left the hotel to go to visit families n when we arrived at the motel we had no power no hot water for the baby to make milk nothing the motel management didn’t even make an effort to inform us dt the power was out n they don’t have any solution to the needs dt was required for the baby we left the motel at 6am cz we wer left with no hot water for baby n had no idea wen the power was coming n no on from the motel made an effort to compensate as we didn’t use any thing in the motel we couldn’t even shower travelling from Rotorua to paihia checked in n left in 30mins n came back at 11 pmnSpoke to the manager n was told sorry we can’t do half refund sorrynNot happy n would like pple to knw if u r going here just knw if u r hit by a storm or power outage u will hv nothing apart from the bed nMotel takes zero responsibility for no source of water n anything
Very large spacious, immaculately clean room with balcony. Had all the amenities you would need. Just a very short walk to the centre and beachfront 5 minutes. Lovely, helpful staff. Highly recommended.
Pleasantly surprised by the value, presentation and overall service of our stay. Very well appointed room, conveniently located near Paihia main drag and very accomodating customer service.nnMany thanks, hope to be back!
Had a lovely 2 night stay there for my birthday New Years Eve and New Years day, lovely clean rooms. When our ride couldnt make it to take us to our Bus back to Auckland, the staff gave a ride down on their van as my bestie uses a walker...thanks again and see you again soon
