The Location was very good , but room standard was very bad, we got a large family apartment and one room curtains was full with moulds and beds have to many bed bugs or flies whatever it is .nPrice was fine but then i was know why its fine .nService was good but Not good what normally the motels have .nEverything was below what we expected in motel
Great Location for a Bay of Islands AdventurennWe stayed at Dolphin Hotel Paihia on our way to Cape Reinga and were pleasantly surprised. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Paihia, making it easy to explore the town and nearby attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. While the hotel itself may not be the most luxurious, it offers great value for money. If you're looking for a convenient base to explore the Bay of Islands, Dolphin Hotel Paihia is a solid choice.
Super friendly staff! Great convenient location as it's very close to restaurants and the wharf! Very clean too and very good value for money! I booked throught the website which was the cheapest!
The room needed updating, we had 3 heaters on as the room was very cold. The young man in the office was really nice an apologetic. $150 is not worth it, and no fresh milk only creamer sachets.
The location is unexpectedly good. The motel is much closer to central town compared to what I expected. The staffs are gems and truly did their best to accommodate me and my family. The new rooms are clean and fresh. They are well recommended, especially those with terrace/balcony. Waking up in the morning and enjoy a cup of tea and coffe couldn't be more comfortable.
