This was the first time we had used this awesome space, we choose it because of how central it was and that we needed a neutral space, it also ticked all the 'boxes' re technology, space, whiteboard and handy small kitchen. Heads up, the reason they give you 15 minutes each side is that all the seating and table tops need to be set up and then stored away by you, it's super easy, but just remember that! Highly recommended :
I don't know if I'm alone in preferring self-service when I'm organising events. Nor in preferring to have complete control over the environment – set up, technology, etc. But Do Box has ticked all my boxes for the several events I've run there meetings, brainstorm sessions, workshops – especially because their app, and the modular furniture, don't require any instructions or expert know-how: it's all at your fingertips, almost entirely plug-and-play. I've also attended some events there – from an after-work mixer to a dance party – and the streamlined design, and the flexibility in set-up, have combined to make it enjoyable for any small to medium-sized group. I may never book a traditional venue again!
I used this for a workshop with a community organisation. It's a versatile and funky space that lends itself well to delivering content in creative way. I particularly liked the campfire feel to some of our discussion which came about as a result of the way the participants had set up the room. Accessibility was a bit of a challenge for some Would recommend Do Box if you want to do something creative.
Such an easy set up, access, and great central venue in New Plymouth. We use this for our weekly Men's Group as a community not for profit organisation. Thank you for your generosity DoBOX team. Comfortable, quiet and great for our evening sessions.
Easy to book, great space in the middle of town. Fantastic idea!
Our charity hosts regular board meetings here. It is an amazing space and an amazing location!
