Great meal and drinks. The Dixie Chicken Poke Bowl was fantastic. The Peach Bomb Cider is delicious. All our meals were fantastic, friendly service, nice seating. Very tasty food.

I am an avid supporter of Dixie Browns at the Mount. Over the road from the sea. Watch para sailors landing .. outside verandah seating. Have been visiting for a number of years. Good and consistent menus. You must try the Seafood Chowder for starters ..

We had a lovely breakfast at Dixie Browns. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the food was really nice. As per my husband, they had the best eggs benedict! I also loved their hot chocolate drink definitely a highlight of our visit. A great spot to enjoy breakfast .

Absolutely a highlight every time we’re in Tauranga. A visit to Dixie Brown has become a tradition for us, and it never disappoints. From the legendary peanut butter milkshakes to the utterly indulgent crème brûlée peanut butter waffles, everything is next-level delicious. Today’s bunny chow was outstanding — rich, comforting, and full of flavour. Consistently amazing food, great vibes, and always worth building a day around. Can’t wait for the next visit!

Great atmosphere. Fantastic service. Food was perfect. I went for the fish and chips. Absolutely amazing. Portion size excellent. This place is a gem in the mount. Highly recommend. I will be back as the menu had several good options to choose from. Prices are actually good considering the location, service and quality of food. Well done to the staff and owner.
