Delicious food and great service with a warm and comfortable environment. If you want to eat somewhere a little fancy, this is the place. The pizza are huge, and well worth a look...but how could you pass by the specials? Top dollar for good food.
Mid morning and just perfect after a stroll along the beach. Comfy seating. Tea & Tart yummy. My friend opted for Fresh Cream Scones with her Tea. Server a tad slow and in her defence 'Dixie Browns' was busy.
Wow It's the locals Favorite and I can see why I Recommend booking ahead with Reservations as they are very busy but walk ins are allowed and they do keep in contact with you once a table becomes Available excellent 5 star customer service Anzel really makes everybody feel welcome. Their signature food creations are Amazing.
after my Mt. Maunganui trip, straight went here for my lunch since just nearby. the Pork Belly is one of the best I ever had, I like it very much! Although they missed out our order, but the food definitely worth the wait! and the manager I guess, not sure izit manager gave us special discount due to long waiting time!
Right near the forefront of Mount Maunganui, not far from the hot pools. A great place to relax and have a quiet dinner. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. We had fast and efficient service. The food is excellent and a large selection of dishes. I enjoyed a surloin steak with BBQ sauce, my wife had a fish burger. Delicious. Highly recommended.
This restaurant is our new favorite. The food is very delicious and portion is generous. Remember to try the Chicken Sandwich in the lunch menu and the Baked Brie in the dinner menu!
Good location with nice views. Set up is very nice and luxurious with friendly staff. I ordered caesar salad, presentation was excellent but the bread was so hard that was very difficult to chew, some of them were so hard like a rock . The other think that was interesting was that I found bacon in the salad which is not very common in caesar salads at least those that I have tried. And there was so much sauce that made the salad far away from being a healthy option. Overall, I enjoyed the meal and the experience and I recommend the place if you visit Tauranga
Great food at reasonable prices, very clean and tidy premises and the staff were excellent. The milkshakes were so good, and the sandwiches were full of fillings.
Food was good. I ordered the prawn and avocado salad - you get lots of prawn and salmon but literally only a quarter slice of avocado so if you're after avocado that isn't the dish for you! Staff were very friendly and helpful too.
Had lunch with my family here on a Wednesday afternoon. The coffee was amazing, the food was delicious and the service was fantastic. The prices were also very reasonable for the quality and portion size you receive. Usually you pay $20-25 for some tiny portion you could make for under $5 at home, but here the meal was actually quite large for the price. Not to mention the great taste. We were all very impressed and would not hesitate in recommending Dixie Browns as a fantastic place to go. We will be back. Great work.
