Dive Centre is New Zealand's longest running dive store!

We have a huge range of the latest top quality equipment on display at our 6,000 sq ft Mega Store, and we have the biggest purpose-built diver training pool in New Zealand in a second dedicated 6,000 sq ft facility - we are the biggest PADI trainer in NZ, and with 12,000 sq ft of facilities dedicated to making sure you have a great time underwater, we are your one stop shop for all your Aquatic adventures - whether it's snorkelling, freediving, scuba or technical diving - but it's not only about size, it's also about people you can trust!

Dive Centre has been owned and run by the Kidd family since 1971. We remain dedicated to ensuring you have the ultimate dive experience, offering the biggest range of services, the best advice on anything related to diving, and the largest selection of "quality" dive equipment on display in NZ. We stand behind everything we sell and do, and we will not be beaten on price for the gear we sell!

I ordered a dive computer via the online shop in early February. I didn't receive a confirmation email, but the money went out, so I was nervous, but got an email response after asking for it, with a copy of my purchase confirmation, and a note saying it would have to be ordered in, and they'd be in touch once it arrives. That's not great, seeing that wasn't noted on the website, but here we are, right, let's go with it. A month after ordering, I sent a follow up email, asking where we were at - no response. Benefit of the doubt, 5 days later, email asking the same - no response. So I called, and someone took my details, but basically no direct answers at all. "Looking into it". That's a lot of money to pay for gear, for me anyway, and not to get any answers, or no direct answers, 6 weeks in, is a bit weak. Waiitng to be called back right now. Happy to change my review once this is resolved. EDIT: Was refunded, and got a sincere apology, but wish there had been better comms along the way - or any - without me continuously emailing and calling.
Super impressed with the help I received today - first visit to the shop. I took my old gear in and asked for guidance as to what was still useable and fit for purpose and what needed replacing. Mack was very knowledgeable and not at all pushy. I was very happy with my purchase and was given some great tips on product care. Recommend!
Would give 0 stars if possible. Having a nightmare online shopping experience with Dive Centre Ltd. I bought 2 pairs of goggles early December, the money came out but the goggles never turned up. I emailed several times and was told each time they were on the way. I then phoned the company who said the goggles aren't even in stock. I asked for a refund and they said they would do this. It has not been done. Still chasing them up
Excellent dives with a great team! I joined in an open water course to do some fun dives in the local area and had a brilliant time. The staff are extremely professional but also made everything so fun. The sense of humour aspect is very important and us brits and kiwis make a joke out of everything! The diving itself was pretty good and better than I expected for the local area. I have done a lot of more extreme dives in the past, but just cruising through vibrant yellow kelp forests and swim throughs was incredibly relaxing! To top it off I was only charged for the cost of my rental equipment - the dives and transport were totally free. This is an amazing dive shop and crew, and the people of Auckland are lucky to have them. Thank you again guys for a great day! In particular a big thank you to Sam and Joel I hope I got the names right?! who really made the day awesome. Cheers guys!!!! David
Dive centre provide quality training, staff are very knowledgeable and experienced. Their gear is in great shape and package deals to buy your own save you a large amount. Can definetely recommend these guys for anything dive related.
I came in for a non-dive related request...to have my paintball tank re-filled. These guys welcomed me in and filled my tank at a good price, when others have turned me down. it just goes to show that the guys and gals here are super accommodating and friendly. Its the little things that count.
Good luck trying to be better than these guys. Professional, honest and family owned. Can't ask for better! Well done to the Dive centre crew!

A real good place for all your diving necessities and the owner comes from a family of divers. As I have done a dive course there , they really care about your safety , personally recommend it.
