We found the place and booked in short notice. I called them a few times for little questions and got the answers in good manner.nnIt is an old accommodation so you find that the facilities are a bit out dated and aged. However, it seemed to be cleaned well and things work in general.nnI felt welcomed by Megan in many ways so our family was happy during our stay. We found that the service was better than our expectation, including the quality of food from the restaurant.
Beware: this accommodation does not deliver what is shown in the photos or advertised. Our room was in awful condition: there were large stains all over the carpet, the curtains were badly stained with mould and yellowed, and the room had a terrible smell unless the window was left open at all times.nRoom service didn’t straighten up the room or provide fresh towels on the first day, the TV had extremely limited channels, and the front door felt unsafe and drafty due to visible multiple lock replacements. To top it off, there was mould in the shower.nAll in all, this place is not worth a penny!
Terrible, would never stay again, cold, dated, dirty rooms. Noisy with all the tour buses unloading at all hours. Definitely caters for the package deal tourist who will never stay again. Very average and expensive food. Def not worth the room rate- even at half the price.
Booked here very last minute after an evening hot tub session. Spacious and clean room, although very dated and is maybe a little expensive considering. The beds are very worn and bouncy. Beware someone walked into our room luckily we were only just watching tv. Saying that, we got a good nights sleep which is what we were after.nnReceptionist was friendly and helpful!
Booked this hotel since nothing was available in this region on the year end night. Had very low expectations but turned out to be good. We checked-in very late; the lady at reception was about to leave but stayed back for helping us. Although during checkout we had to struggle for payment as our card didn't work at the first attempt. Rooms are a bit old but I guess this is the best thing available at Omarama.
