Story

Dil Takeaways is a family business which started with the interest of our Mother's cooking and planned to open our own takeaway.
The name "DIL" symbolised the family union and represents the three siblings name which starts with DIL.
We like our customers to experience home cooking which we love and enjoy at home that brings the taste of Sri Lankan food.

Always love this place for homestyle reasonably priced Sri Lankan food. They are on uber eats, but if you got the time, call, order, and go pick up, as they got weekly specials etc that are always a good deal. And sometimes they have home made ice cream as well!
Good little Sri Lanka authentic restaurant located in Mount Wellington with reasonable price. It is hidden in Commissariat Road. Very clean and tidy and offers Uber Eat option. Unfortunately they close at 7pm. Must visit if you are in the area.
Real Sri Lankan taste for reasonable price. Friendly staff.
The food is tasty. Would suit people who like spicy food. They need to be more consistent with their opening and closing times. Have found the shop closed on days and times when they were supposed to be open.

Fantastic food! Reasonable price and the yummiest food! We ordered fish patties, lamb roll and egg rotti. We will definitely order again and this will be our favourite Sri Lankan food choice!
Dil Takeaways is a nice clean and quiet place. If you want you can have your meal there. But best for takeaway.
